Linel Perez
Recruitment and Engagement Associate
Linel Perez is a Duet alumna who earned both her associate and bachelor's degrees in Communications in just over two years.
A passionate community builder, she is dedicated to creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected. Linel began her career in enrollment at Year Up United, supporting students in her hometown of Providence, Rhode Island, and in new market launches across the country.
She later spent two years on the philanthropy team, partnering with corporate sponsors and foundations to raise funds and create meaningful volunteer opportunities for students and interns.
Linel also served as Chair of the Rhode Island Alumni Board at Year Up United for 2 years, during which she developed networking, volunteer, and professional development events for alums. In that role, she collaborated with Duet on numerous occasions, helping introduce new people to the Duet community and strengthening connections among learners and graduates.
