Derby joined the Duet team after working for several years as Director of Operations for a real estate firm in Florida. She was drawn to the role of Coach because it gives her an opportunity to "invest in students in every way - academically and personally." When she's not working with students, Derby can be found cooking and enjoying time with her young daughter.
